Heya guys!

Well, what can I say? I've finally returned after a journey of a lifetime - so far, though, haha

Having been abroad for a full year has been amazing. I've had the best time of my life, the people I've met and the memories I've made will stay forever in my heart & mind. I'm incredibly grateful for all the experiences I've made throughout my travels. 

I am currently preparing my portfolio to apply for university, I will - hopefully! - start studying graphic design next September. 
I'm off to Australia again in a few weeks, coming home slowed my life down so much, I'm glad to have some time for my family and also, of course, art at the moment, but I can't wait to start a new adventure soon. 

I hope I can keep you guys updated, thank you so much for sticking with me!

As many of you know, I'm currently in New Zealand, I just started a new job for the next few months and it's getting towards winter. So my life is getting a bit more quiet and organized.
To make some use of my free time, I want to open commissions. Yay! 

What I can do:
- digital art from sketches to full illustrations


- ballpoint pen sketches (examples on my art blog here)

- graphite drawings from sketches to full drawings 


- water color drawings from sketches to full paintings


If you want to purchase the original drawing/painting my size maximum at the moment is 20x29cm / 8x11" and if you don't live in the New Zealand/Australia area shipping might take a while

Sketches start around 10 Euro, apart from that my prices are based on how long I'm working on the piece.

For example, the digital horse portrait would be around 25 Euro and the pencil drawing 40 Euro. In general there is always room for negotiation and I can work around every budget!

The whole New Zealand thing I told you about half a year ago? 
Well, that starts on monday.

Right now I am in the very very panic-y state between "I don't wanna go there I wanna stay here where it's comfortable and nice and home" and "oh my god I can't wait to finally leave", but I guess that'll get better when I'm finally on the plane.

The next six months I'm going to be on a working holiday, I probably won't have my laptop, just my phone - so I guess I won't be able to post art here the first time, but I will still answer comments
That doesn't mean that I will stop drawing - that wouldn't be possible for me! - and if you still want to follow me you can check out my blog. It won't be art only, probably mostly stories about my life in New Zealand and photos, but I'm going to post drawings and sketches and so on, too

I hope you're all doing fine!

It has been a while since the last life update journal so I thought I could write something for those of you who are interested in what I'm doing.
I honestly can't believe that it has only been two months since I wrote about the end of school in july, it feels like yesterday and at the same time it feels like a year ago.

First, the art trades. For the first time ever I did art trades where I send out the original drawing and got an original back in return.
Because I want to be as cool as the awesome lizzardhunter I'm copying her selfie-with-artwork style, I hope you don't mind, dear
She got this owl and I got this fantastic painting from her!

She is not only a fantastic artist but also a wonderful person and friend, go check out her art and shower her with love!

The second art trade I did was with Woodswallow and a bit more unusual, since her request for me was to design one of her characters, Liv. While she didn't had a physical appearance of her character in mind she gave me a lot of information about Liv's personality. Developping a face to these character traits was definitely one of the most fun things I ever did! ^__^

Next, travel plans.
I'm slowly getting the impression that this year I'm doing nothing but travelling, after I've been to Austria  I visited uniccin last week and I already miss her. D:
Some art happened...

... but also a lot of crying over films...

...and eating and dancing and people and hugging cats (especially hugging cats!)
Alright i'll stop boring you, all I have to say is go watch her now, she deserves it!


Now towards the plans thing that was included in the title Travel Plans, I'm going to Seville, Spain, tomorrow and I'm going to stay two weeks with my best friend who started to study there. Awesome!
I'm taking my sketchbook with me and also my watercolors, so I really hope I get some time to paint! ^-^
Is anybody of you living somewhere near Seville or has already been there? Anything I shouldn't miss?

1.) I usually don't do these tag things but I promised uniccin to do it because she's awesome and she hopefully comes to visit me soon and you should go watch her now
2.) If my house was on fire, the first thing I'd save (after I made sure that my family is safe outside) are my sketchbooks... and my mobile, probably
3.) I'm afraid of jellyfishes, even the harmless ones 
4.) I don't like eating jelly/jello/whatever you might call it either and I don't know if there's a connection to  point 3

5.) I love travelling

7.) I like the feeling of being alone in a crowd

1.)  Do you have a pet?
No I don't, I live with my parents and they don't allow pets, not even a fish... When I move out and I have the time and the money I'd love to adopt a dog or cats or both _{I didn't lie about the 'not wanting to make decisions'-fact, I can't even decide if I'm more of a dog or a cat person}
I do have a horse - she's not technically mine, but the owners are rarely there and if she's healthy (unlike the last few months) I can do pretty much whatever I want whith her :3

2.) What's your favorite daytime?
That's hard... I don't like getting up early but I love being up early and watch the sun rise... I'm most productive after 9 pm and the time for the best conversations is at 3 am 

3.) If you could be an animal, which one would you want to be?
A flying one, probably an albatross - huge wings and a grumpy face seems like a nice combination. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
An other option would be a leopard seal... I have a weakness for animals that are both cute and deadly. www.vertebratejournal.org/wp-c… Also, I don't really trust the ocean and I don't like to dive, so being a sea animal would be a nice experience. Eating penguins is also a plus. 

4.) Who's your favorite author?
Too many! Aaand we're back to the I want everything at once part - I don't really have a favourite genre, I enjoy reading everything from young adult novels and fantasy to Kafka and Shakespeare. If I have to choose, I'd say JK Rowling, Markus Zusak, Frank Schätzing, Carlos Ruiz Zafon and I think I'll stop myself here, I don't want to bore you ^^

5.) The worst movie you ever watched was..?
The worst... uh. The worst I can remember right now was "All about Steve" with Sandra Bullock which was awful. I'm not really a fan of romantic comedies and this one was just embarassing to watch

6.) Who is you favorite superhero?
Iron Man! I liked the Batman films, too - until I had to write a 15 pages paper on Batman last year. That was kinda fun because other people from my class had to write about works like Pride and Prejudice and I was sitting there analyzing superhero movies  
(If anyone wants to read  how the literery motive of the mask is utilized in us-american superhero movies on the basis of the Batman triology - just ask ;D)

7.) What would you do if you could travel in the past?
This depends on the terms and conditions. Can I come back to my time? If not, I'll stay where I am. If I can go to different times, can I have an influence on events? I would definitely visit pre- and post-II-World-War Germany, Rome would also be a place I'd like to visit (or in this case, have visited), but I wouldn't like to stay in the past for longer. I'm too exited that I'm going to see the future! 

8.) Do you watch LPs? Why/ Why not?
I don't do that very often because I don't play games - sometimes I go and watch some if people are talking about a specific game and I want to know more about it. But usually, no. 

9.) What do you want to write on your gravestone?
Shhh foxy it's not 3 am and you're not drunk and therefore I won't answer depressing questions.
Probably my name. 

10.) Why did you sign in on Deviantart? 
I've been active an the green pony sim game for those of you who still remember me as Moira, and all the cool artists from over there were making a dA account. Always follow the mainstream, I don't know who dragged me there in the first place but I'm glad to be here! ^-^
